Gut health has been a trendy topic in the health realm for the past few years, after research uncovered the many ways that the health of our gut flora impacts our overall wellness. Microbiome studies have taken off, showing us just how much the bacteria and organisms that take residence in our bodies can affect our health, from brain function, hormone balance, cognitive function, mood, energy production, nutrient absorption and more. Most of us know that we need to take take great care of our gut, but it can be challenging to know where to start.
At TCLM, we believe that everyone should have access to support, health education, and a deeper level of healthcare. Therefore, we have created several group Transformation Coaching Programs, consisting of communities tailored to outcomes our patients wish to achieve. Therefore, our patients can join a group based on whom they believe they may resonate with. Of course, we had to make gut health groups a priority, as so many of our members struggle in this area.
These groups are designed to offer guidance, education, and emotional support for people who want to take control of their gut health. By joining a gut health support group, members gain access to valuable resources that can help them better understand their gut's needs and how to meet them. Groups are led by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable health coaches, who can not only provide background information and resources but also walk members through tangible steps they may take in order to solve obstacles that may be impeding their health progression.
Group members may also be able to provide emotional backing, share ideas, and offer additional strategies needed when tackling gut-related issues such as irritable bowel syndrome, malabsorption, SIBO, histamine intolerance, food sensitivities, and more. This can be especially beneficial for those living with mild to severe gut issues, as members share their struggles and the tools that they have found useful for healing.
We have found that many of our patients struggle to make positive habits stick, as they often feel very alone in their journey toward overcoming obstacles. Groups allow a safe and non-judgmental space where members can share the highs and lows of their health journey with like-minded members.. even when it comes to discussing the things that may seem too TMI to open up about with other friends. We don't shy away from discussing such topics or obstacles related to gut issues. We love that our groups are led by health coaches who have experienced their own personal health struggles, and who can empathize with members in the group while sharing valuable tools and information that spark hope for healing.
