In today’s fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the toll that unprocessed trauma and stress can take on our minds and bodies. But healing is possible, especially when we embrace a holistic approach that addresses the mind and the nervous system. We invite you to join our transformative mind-body groups, led by the expert guidance of Geny Moreno, a dedicated mind-body medicine practitioner.
Geny Moreno brings a wealth of knowledge and practice to the table, emphasizing the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being. Geny's unique approach incorporates tools such as Tai Chi, Qigong, meditation, and somatic release—all of which are designed to help participants manage stress and process emotions in a healthy, supportive environment.
Trauma can be both blatant and subtle—referred to as big T and little t traumatizing experiences. Through group interactions, Geny offers a safe space to explore these dynamics, ensuring that participants start their healing journeys with a comprehensive understanding of the traumas that may have shaped their lives.
Central to the program is somatic release, which empowers individuals to express and let go of buried emotions and energy. Moving our bodies and vocalizing those pent-up feelings can significantly contribute to healing. Geny guides participants through practices that encourage releasing emotions to experience the full benefits of therapeutic movement.
In these groups, you'll delve into "doing the work"—a phrase often used in the healing community to refer to the process of self-discovery and healing. This involves moving beyond merely intellectualizing healing to actively participating in it. Geny provides the support needed for participants to explore their inner worlds, forgive past decisions, and learn to set healthy boundaries.
An important aspect of the program is learning self-forgiveness, which then extends into how we relate to others. Geny believes that when you forgive yourself, you're more capable of granting grace to those around you, setting the stage for a ripple effect of healing in your community.
We're thrilled to announce the launch of our upcoming mind-body healing groups starting the last week of April. The program consists of a six-week series with sessions every Tuesday afternoon for two hours or Thursday mornings!
If you're ready to embark on a journey of transformation and healing, we invite you to contact our office for more information and to schedule your place in these life-changing groups. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to work alongside Geny Moreno and transform the narrative of trauma into one of resilience and recovery.
Reach out today to begin your path to healing and discovery. We look forward to welcoming you into our community.
